The other earth’s a lovely place —
some like it better than home base;
it’s slightly diff’rent than it’s here,
the way some people disappear.
All of those rivals bugging you
are filtered out turning a screw;
all oppositional lifestyles
are excised jiggling the dials.
There’s situations no one likes,
like demonstrations or airstrikes;
an incompatible viewpoint
can get gray matter out of joint.
But, serendipitously, those
antagonisms won’t impose;
we made an algorithm which
zaps troubles flipping on a switch.
Now, everywhere you chose to go,
not once will you hear the word ‘no’;
disparagers you don’t care for
all evanesce through a trap door.
Diversity works out real well
when there’s no views we need repel;
intentional conformity
brought to you by the delete key.
The other earth you can adjust —
just twiddle out thoughts you distrust;
and those of whom are disapproved
get automatically removed.
The other earth’s a lovely place,
complete with pliant human race;
and all those quibblers you disdain —
just send ‘em here, it’s more humane.
